Construction Begins on $3.5 Million Addition to Expand Service Areas

Cleveland, OH – Flight Options, Inc. has begun construction on a $3.5 million expansion of its 100,000 square foot operation and control center.  The addition, totaling 25,000 square-feet, is set for completion in spring of 2000. It will accommodate offices for crew services support, have additional hangar space and will feature a flight simulator for training Flight Options’ 200 pilots.

The expansion will be implemented in three phases, the first of which will be the completion of the structural steel by November.

Chairman and CEO, Kenn Ricci stated:  “The expansion will allow us to obtain the resources needed to keep pace with the tremendous growth we are experiencing.”

Flight Options began its pre-owned fractional program in October 1998 and announced its 150th customer exactly one year later, making it the fastest growing fractional program.  Flight Options Inc. features fractional ownership programs for new and previously owned business jets including the Citation II, Beechjet 400A, Hawker 800 and Challenger 601.

Flight Options recently announced an order valued at $760 million for the purchase of 25 Envoy 7 intercontinental business jets.  Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Flight Options was formed last year with an emphasis on bringing value-added jets to the fractional ownership market."
