Flight Options Announces Alliance With Raytheon Aircraft Services

Newly developed maintenance network to provide industry’s finest full-service support

CLEVELAND (June 4, 2003) - Flight Options, a leading provider of fractional shares in jet aircraft, announced today that Raytheon Aircraft Services is now the company’s preferred supplier for aircraft maintenance.  This alliance represents a five-year agreement in excess of $400 million.  Raytheon Aircraft Services will provide factory certified maintenance to the entire Flight Options fleet. 

“This alliance allows us to have access to over 15 maintenance centers throughout the United States,” said John Nahill, Chairman and CEO of Flight Options.

Raytheon Aircraft will provide infrastructure, parts, tooling, processes, fuel and systems support. Brian Hoffman, Vice President Maintenance Raytheon Aircraft Services, will lead this endeavor and oversee all maintenance facilities. 

“This investment will afford our customers with the best maintenance service in the industry,” added Nahill. 

In March of 2002, Flight Options combined with Raytheon Travel Air to form Flight Options, LLC.  Based in Cleveland, Ohio with operations also in Binghamton, NY; Flight Options employs over 1300 professionals nationwide.  Flight Options offers fractional shares in its fleet of over 200 aircraft, which includes the world’s largest fleets of King Air’s, Beechjet 400A’s and Hawker 800’s.  The fleet also includes the CitationJet, Citation V, Citation 650, Falcon 50, Citation X, Challenger 601 and Gulfstream IV."
