Flight Options Appoints Chief Purchasing Officer

CLEVELAND (May 16, 2003) - Flight Options, a leading provider of fractional shares in jet aircraft, has named Tracy Chaplin as Chief Purchasing Officer.  She will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s procurement of major products, such as fuel, catering and systems, among other substantial purchases.

Chaplin joined Flight Options in 2001 as Director of Materials Management.  While in this position, she oversaw the purchasing of all aircraft components and maintained and managed the company’s inventory.  Prior to her career at Flight Options, she worked at Emery Worldwide Airlines for 13 years, most recently serving as Director of Materials Management.  Chaplin holds a degree in economics from Wright State University and is currently pursuing her masters in aviation management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  She is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and the National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM).
