Flight Options Press Release

Flight Options Equips with AirCell

NBAA 2000 — New Orleans, LA. — October 10, 2000 — Cleveland, Ohio-based Flight Options announced today that they will equip their fleet of fractionally owned light jets with AirCell in-flight phone systems.

Utilizing AirCell's patented technology, which exclusively accesses the existing ground-based cellular network, Flight Options customers will be able to stay in touch whether on the ramp or in the clouds. Voice, data, e-mail, fax, and Internet access are all available with any AirCell communications system, and both the up-front costs and the usage fees represent a fraction of those of competing in-flight systems.

“We are pleased to offer our owners the AirCell in-flight phone systems. The cellular-based AirCell system is more reliable and less costly than equivalent airborne systems.” said Jim Miller, Flight Option’s Executive Vice President. “We continually strive to find the best technological solutions for our customers and AirCell has met our expectations.”

“Flight Options is a leader in the fractional ownership industry and this partnership — with a leader in in-flight connectivity — seems natural," said Geoffrey Hoppe, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AirCell. “Our core customers are very similar — they’re individuals who place a premium value on their time and ability to stay connected to the world around them. With AirCell connectivity, Flight Options customers will be able to take full office capabilities with them in the air and truly stay in touch, in flight.”

Flight Options International, Inc., located in Cleveland, Ohio, operates with an emphasis on supplying pre-owned jets to the fractional ownership market. Flight Options offers fractional shares in its fleet of 82 aircraft, which includes the Citation II, Beechjet 400A, Citation III, Hawker 800, Falcon 50, Challenger 601 and Gulfstream IV.

AirCell provides advanced in-flight communications systems and service for the general aviation and commercial airline markets. AirCell is the only airborne system authorized by the FCC to provide in-flight cellular communications. By using patented technology, which interfaces the AirCell telephone system to existing ground-based cellular networks, AirCell and its cellular partners provide clear voice and data communication (including fax, e-mail, and Internet access) at a fraction of the cost of current airborne phones. More information on AirCell is available on the company's web site at www.aircell.com.
