This biannual audit verifies that a flight operation is managed, organized, and consistent with industry best practices and reflects a clear commitment to safety. The Platinum rating is the highest given by ARG/US and Flight Options is proud to have been one of the longest to maintain it (2002, 2004, 2006, 2008).

Flight Options was the first fractional jet provider invited to participate in the FAA’s Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) for crew and maintenance teams. This industry leading safety reporting program encourages flight crews and maintenance technicians to voluntarily report critical safety information, helping to proactively identify and correct hazards.

Flight Options was the first fractional jet provider to partner with the FAA in the development of an integrated Safety Management System (SMS) prototype. SMS incorporates proven quality and management principles to continuously improve safety in every aspect of our business. It involves line management, employee engagement and safety expertise to ensure the highest standards of safety in aircraft operations. Flight Options is helping to pioneer SMS standards that will become the model for the rest of the air transportation industry.

Flight Options received the FAA Gold Certificate of Excellence in 2007 & 2008 and is a four time recipient of the Diamond Certificate of Excellence, the highest Certificate awarded by the FAA.
