Flying Internationally

A minimum of 48-hours notice is required for all international flights. This includes non-domestic flights within your Primary Service Area (Canada, Central America and the Caribbean) and flights to Hawaii and Alaska.

Although the Primary Service Area extends beyond the contiguous United States, certain procedures must be adhered to when flying out of the country. Ports-of-Entry must be used to clear customs when entering a foreign country or when re-entering the United States. It may be necessary to stop at an airport not on the selected flight itinerary to clear customs and comply with entry requirements. When clearing customs, passengers are required to carry, on your person, your valid passport and VISA (where applicable). Please note that a photo ID (such as your driver’s license) with a certified copy of your birth certificate (with raised stamp) is no longer acceptable for international travel.
