Accounts Payable Clerk

Position Overview

Flight Options is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team at our state-of-the-art facility in Cleveland, Ohio. This position will primarily engage in calculating, processing, posting, verifying, and maintaining data and payments to accounts payable. The Accounts Payable Clerk will report directly to the Controller.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform all procedures related to billing
  • Complete cycle process of payments including:
    • Matching
    • Coding
    • Heavy Data Entry
    • Check Processing

  • Identify and resolve problems and inconsistencies and suggest appropriate corrective procedures
  • Work directly with various company vendors

Education & Experience

Aircraft Maintenance Technician (PBI)

Position Overview

Flight Options is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our Maintenance organization as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in West Palm Beach, Florida. Overall, this position will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including; airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform all airframe, power plant and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirements
  • Remove and disassemble defective parts
  • Assemble and install of replacement parts and testing aircraft system
  • Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments
  • Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned
  • Maintain a clean and neat work area to our company and internal customers
  • Must support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints

Education & Experience

Avionics Technician

Position Overview

Flight Options is currently looking for an experienced Avionics Technician to join our Maintenance Department. This position will be responsible for performing functional tests, removing, installing and troubleshooting the avionics systems and components of our aircraft.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform quality avionics installations on our production aircraft
  • Ability to perform in-depth diagnostics on aircraft avionics components and systems
  • Ensure all work completed on aircraft complies with all technical publications and FAA regulations
  • Complete and sign maintenance and installation documents
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of all work as assigned
  • Ability to read and understand schematic and wiring diagrams
  • Test avionics equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on analysis of test results, following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents
  • Analyze and develop solutions to electronic problems

Director of Safety

Position Overview

Flight Options is a proud 10 consecutive year awarded ARG/US Part 135 Company. We are currently seeking an experienced aviation professional to lead our Safety Department. This candidate will be the administrator of all safety programs for Flight Options. Additionally, will be responsible for the Company’s Safety Management Systems and safety standards to ensure we continue to be the best-of-the-best in the industry. The Director of Safety will work closely with several departments such as Flight and Maintenance and will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report to senior management on all carrier activities that may have an impact on safety, security, or regulatory compliance
  • Maintain, review, and revise the Safety Management System
  • Establish a reporting system that provides for a timely and free flow of safety-related information
  • Maintain a database of safety and security related events and audit findings to monitor and analyze trends
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, hazards, and instances of non-compliance, and make recommendations to preclude recurrence
  • Distribute pertinent safety and security information
  • Manage the Internal Evaluation Program
  • Conduct regular audits in accordance with this Program
  • Provide safety and security training to employees
  • Maintain and exercise the Emergency Response Plan
  • Accomplish notification requirements to the NTSB in case of a reportable aircraft accident or incident
  • Accomplish notification requirements to OSHA or EPA, as appropriate, in case of workplace accidents
  • Solicit and process safety improvement suggestions
  • Maintain close liaison with the FAA, NTSB, and industry safety organizations

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Ground Safety Manager, Pilot Safety Manager, Safety Analyst positions will report directly to the Director of Safety.

Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, or Safety Management or related degree required; Masters Degree preferred
  • 5-7 years experience in Part 135 flight operations, maintenance, or equivalent transportation industry experience and/or internal auditing
  • Commercial Pilot certificate, A&P certificate, and/or FAA Dispatcher certificate desired
  • Previous experience with SMS or IEP program management or oversight
  • Professional education or experience and/or education in internal auditing or investigations
  • Familiarity with safety analysis, trending and risk assessment

Required Skills

  • Able to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write effective reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak publicly and present on the individual level, senior management level, and to large audiences, including Flight Options employees, industry professionals, and federal agencies

Engineering Manager

Position Overview

Duties & Responsibilities

Structures Engineering Management (70%)
  • Develop engineering technical data to support on-demand maintenance activities
  • Review third party engineering technical data for consistency with Flight Options requirements
  • Develop and produce Engineering Orders and Maintenance Manual Supplements
  • Provide input on aircraft repairs and alterations regarding repair classification and disposition
  • Develop and maintain engineering related internal policies and procedures

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action
  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements accordingly
  • Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements
  • Direct preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts

Graphic Designer

Position Summary

Flight Options is seeking a technically proficient and innovative Graphic Designer to assist in developing print marketing initiatives as well as assist in maintaining / monitoring existing online marketing efforts.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in determining visual and verbal aspects of Flight Options' marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for starting projects from a "clean sheet" and budgeting time accordingly to meet the necessary deadlines
    • Plan and illustrate concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, typography and style, and related aesthetic concepts
    • Submit rough layout of proposed concepts to obtain approval
    • Prepare finished art files upon approval
    • Work with third party vendors (i.e. printers, agencies, etc) for final production of art.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certificate / associate's degree in graphic design from an accredited university or college, 3-5 years experience in graphic design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Programs with excellent working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
  • Basic knowledge of web-based marketing tools such as search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social media marketing
  • General knowledge of CSS, Java Script and HTML (preferably HTML 5) is a plus
  • Marketing ad copywriting experience is a plus.
 Required Skills
  • Ability to create press-ready files using both 4-color process and PMS colors via Adobe Creative Suite version 3 or higher
  • Familiar with designing online marketing campaigns (e-mails, landing pages, banner ads, etc.)

Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications Support (80%)

  • Support the development and creation of marketing materials including direct mail, e-blasts, newsletters, collateral material, etc
  • Assist with design of basic promotional materials as necessary (signage, promotional items, etc)
  • Update and maintain marketing intranet
  • Provide support to Flight Options' public relations and communications initiatives
  • Monitor competitive advertising / marketing activity
  • Monitor Flight Options' brand usage (i.e. trademarks, logo usage, etc)
  • Ensure the company as a whole emanates from one common voice
  • Assist in preparing monthly status reports on marketing efforts
  • Interact with third party vendors
  • Proofread marketing materials prior to final production.
 Special Event Coordination (20%)
  • Serve as project leader to a variety of Flight Options marketing events including regional aircraft static displays, customer appreciation events, and customer philanthropic fundraising events

  • Oversee event details including invitations, event logistics, prominent logo placement, guest list, attendee biographies, and ensure that all deadlines are met

Operations Research Analyst

Oracle Analyst

Position Overview

  • Provide hands on support and maintenance of our existing standard Oracle 11i environment.
  • Lead the team through the upcoming upgrade to version 12 which includes a small number of customized scripts and reports.
  • Responsible for hands on support and maintenance of Oracle 11i / 12i Finance modules such as AP, AR, FA, CM, GL, iExpenses and iReceivables.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems; 3-5 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Oracle Financials Applications.
  • Thorough knowledge of an Oracle Financials Application with expertise in Oracle A/P, A/R, and G/L.
  • At least 2 Oracle implementations and/or Oracle upgrade experience is required.
  • Oracle R12 experience is essential.
  • Experience in managing functional issues with Oracle Support relating to custom development is essential.
  • Working experience on Developer 6i, SQLLOADER, PL/SQL and Discoverer report will be an added advantage.
