Flight Options Earns Safety Honor

Nevada’s Safety Consultation and Training Section Recognizes Local Business For Creating Safe, Healthy Work Environment For Employees And Residents

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – The Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) of the State of Nevada’s Division of Industrial Relations has recognized Flight Options Maintenance Facility in Las Vegas, Nev. for successful completion of the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP).

The no-cost SHARP program is designed to assist employers to develop and implement effective safety and health programs. SHARP assists businesses to improve their return on investment, be in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and create added value of reducing their accident costs.

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Flight Options has earned a reputation as a leader and innovator within the private aviation industry by offering the complete spectrum of programs from fractional ownership to leasing, aircraft management, and JetPASS Membership. As part of the SHARP program, SCATS consultants provide employers with no-cost hazard identification, program development and implementation assistance. Employers who are able to implement effective safety and health programs and have a days away from work and restricted transfer rate below the national average for their industry group are recognized by SCATS. Successful SHARP participants receive a two-year exemption from OSHA’s general schedule inspections.
