Flight Options Names Richard Michaels Vice President, Sales

Flight Options, a leading provider of fractional shares in jet aircraft, announces Richard Michaels has been hired for the position of vice president, sales.  Michaels leads a domestic sales force of 10 sales professionals and is responsible for developing sales strategies, implementation of programs and meeting the company’s overall sales goals.

Prior to joining Flight Options Michaels, who has more than 20 years of aircraft sales experience, was Midwestern Regional Sales Manager for Gulfstream Aerospace division of General Dynamics Corporation.  Michaels also has served as Sales Director for Bombardier Business Aircraft and as vice president and co-founder of Corporate Wings, Inc., precursor to Flight Options.

Michaels holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace from Kent State University, as well as an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.  He is also a pilot, rated in the Learjet 35A and Learjet 60.
